The Three Major Islamic Miracles Stories of Muhammad (PBUH)

In every religion of the world, there is talk of the miracles. These miracles although are commonly associated with the Saints, however, the miracles of magnitude are associated with the Prophets of the respective religion and the follower of every religion takes pride in miracles associated with the respective Prophet.

Night Of Isra and Mairaj:

The second major miracle associated with the personality of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in Islam is the Night of Isra and Mairaj in the blessed Islamic month Rajab. It is the night when Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) ascended to the skies to meet up with Allah Almighty. From His house Prophet (PBUH) was taken to Jerusalem by Jibrael (AS) from where He rode a Horse that took Him to the skies till the point from where onwards no other being could go. From there onwards, He traveled towards Allah Almighty on His own and their He met Him. All of this happened in one part of the night, therefore, all this happening was not believed by the non-believers, where as the Muslims believed in it with their full heart and regarded it as a miracle.

Splitting of Moon:

The third major miracle cherished among Muslims regarding the personality of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is His miracle of the splitting of moon. It is one of the renowned miracles of Prophet (PBUH) which testifies to the truth of Prophethood of Muhammad (PBUH). The non-believers thought of Him as a magician, therefore, they asked Him to prove His Prophethood by showing some miracle in the skies, as according to them the magic did not work in the sky. Thus, in order to prove to them that He was not a magician but a true Prophet, He split the moon into two halves by pointing towards it.
